Language Arts:
- Today we did a lot of “finish-up” work. All students complete their Helen Keller Wiki page. We worked on activities from the story, Happy Birthday, Dr. King and we worked on cursive. The students have a homework assignment that requires PARENTS to respond as well. They are going to share their Helen Keller wiki page with you and ask you to respond. This is due on Friday, January 14th.

· On Monday, January 17th (MLK Day) Groves is hosting a “Kids Against Hunger” event from 1:00-5:30. This is a great opportunity for students to do some community service. BCS staff will also be volunteering during the afternoon. Please think about coming.
