Language Arts:
• Most student are on their FINAL COPY of the “Me you See writing.” The final copies are due on Monday, October 4th. If your child is still writing there rough draft they need to edit at home with an adult and come see me for the final copy packet.

Language Arts:

• Note to parents: I did not enter their SRB homework on this progress report. I will be entering it today and it will be on the next progress report. The missing line does not affect their grade in math.

Science:
• Did sound experiment with foil, meter stick, and string to see where sound traveled the loudest.
• They created a FLIP video selling their experiment! They will post on the wiki Friday.

• Worked on our “Me You See” writing. We talked about a good topic sentence and adding details to our writing. Most students have completed their drafts and our editing with a peer.

4th Grade:
• All of lesson 2.1 in journal and studylink

I just want to thank all of the parents that were able to come to curriculum night last night. If you could not make it, I gave your folder to your child to bring home today. Over the weekend the students do have Science and Language Arts Homework on the Wiki.

Language Arts: Today we worked on our district writing assessment. We will be working on this writing piece for two day. We also went to the media center for check out. Everyone should have a chapter book to read this week.

• The students received their Unit 1 math review. Please watch the pages because some have been copied twice. This review due on Thursday

I hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoyed that wonderful Spartan Victory!!
Today the students had a presentation from our counselors. They learned why we have school counselors and how they can contact them.

Language Arts:

• We finished the story Maria Isabel
• We began our "Me You See" writing piece. We shared our pieces and began brainstorming why they represent us.

Homework:

• Read nightly
• Always have a chapter book in school.

Math:

3rd Grade: Homelink 1.6 and 1.7

4th Grade: Complete studylink 1.6, the bottom of 1.7 and 1.8

• Unit 1 math test is on Friday. Reviews Coming home tomorrow and remember to study your facts.
